What is green sand moulding castings ?

The compacted molding sand is a microporous and porous system with a certain strength composed of original sand and binders (with some additives added if necessary), or a capillary porous system. Raw sand is the backbone material, accounting for 82% to 99% of the total amount of molding sand; Adhesive plays a role in bonding sand particles, wrapping them in the form of a bonding film to give the molding sand the necessary strength and toughness. Additives are substances added to improve the performance required for the molding (core) sand.
