Advantages and disadvantages of resin sanding line

Advantage:
(1) The resin sand line has good fluidity, easy compaction, adjustable demoulding time, high strength after hardening, and is not easy to deform during handling and box closing. Due to the high hardness of resin sand, there is basically no wall displacement phenomenon during the pouring and solidification process, so the dimensional accuracy of the castings is high, which can be improved by 1-2 levels compared with the castings produced by clay sand lines and oil sands.

(2) No drying is required, which shortens the production cycle and saves energy. The drying process is omitted, the molding sand is easy to compact, and the collapsibility is good and easy to clean, which greatly reduces the labor intensity of workers and creates conditions for the realization of mechanized production.


Disadvantage:

(1) The curing time is required after modeling, and multiple sets of molds must be made in the case of large batches;

(2) High requirements for the quality of raw sand;

(3) At the modeling and pouring site, there is a pungent odor during the production process, and there is free formaldehyde in the air;

(4) The use of resin sand production, the cost is high, should be considered comprehensively
